The Episcopal Diocese of Georgia Records primarily consist of the clerical and administrative records of the Diocese, but also contains information concerning individual churches, clergy, and members. There are seventeen series documenting the activities, programs, and missions of the Diocese: Administrative; Architectural Drawings; Artifacts; Bishop's Files; Church in Georgia; Commissions, Committees, and Councils; Financial; Individual Churches and Convocations; Leadership; Missions and Ministry; Parochial Reports; Property; Publications; Religious Education and Services; Savannah and Atlanta Railway Company; Surveys; and Vital Records.
The collection contains two series of visual materials: Church in Georgia and Architectural Drawings. The bulk of these series was amassed for the Episcopal publication, Church in Georgia. Many of the folders in this collection retain their original names.
Additionally, the collection includes 26 microfilm rolls containing some of the original records in this collection, 1750-1942.
