This diary consists of copies of 10 pages of entries made between April and November of 1779. Francis John Skelly lists daily troop movements under the command of Maj. Gen. Prevost from Ebenezer, Georgia to Port Royal, South Carolina, and describes a skirmish with 'Rebels' led by 'Polaskey' (Pulaski) in which the American forces were defeated. The diary is a photocopy of the original in the Huntington Library of San Marino, California.
