Many of the papers concern the Georgia Militia, Native American fighting and the political situation in Georgia. Correspondents include Samuel Stirk, Nathanael Greene, Thomas Galphin, John Habersham, John Watts, George Handley, Joel Meriwether, John Appling, Edward Telfair, Jared Irwin, William Glascock, George Mathews, J. Evans Lunt, James McNeel, Jonas Fauche, John McKenzie, and John Car Smith. Many of these letters are photocopies. Also included is 'A plan of operations to be carried out against the Creek Indians;' the document is unsigned.
