This collection contains chronologically arranged Georgia land records: grants, bonds, deeds, leases, releases, etc., from 1755-1775 and 1793. Some of these items have attached plat maps and pendant seals.
The correspondence in this collection are of William G. Goodwin and range in date from 1926-1927. They concern the sale of a piece of furniture, a Button Gwinnett autograph and other papers. A 1985 note located in the front of Folder 14 states that the diary is now on deposit at the Princeton University Library, Princeton, NJ.
This collection contains the following photographs and negatives: (3) of a Button Gwinnett signature; (3) of a Lachlan McIntosh (and Lachlan McGillivray) signature; and (2) of a seal located in the collection.
