This collection consists of a letter from Thomas Moullin (Mills) to his uncle, Nicholas Breton, who lived in Guernsey. Mills wrote the letter in 1783 from Savannah. It contains news of Mills, his wife and children, and asks after his siblings and other family members in Guernsey. He mentions financial hardships his store and plantation have faced, due in part to the Revolutionary War. Mills claims that British soldiers stole some of his slaves, cattle, and possessions, but that he still has his land and other goods and possessions. He mentions various people and goods.
