This collection consists of nine photocopied items primarily relating to the impressment of slaves to work on the defenses of Savannah, Georgia, during the Civil War, between 1864 and 1865. Some of the materials pertain to Fort McAllister. Also included are a ticket to a concert, a blank invoice and a business card from C.J. Beatty, Grocer.
